It all depends on the level of education you want to have as an esthetician! The beauty of esthetics is you can choose to study what you love!
If you’re considering getting an education in skincare, you can choose from a variety of options. We offer three different programs: a basic program, a master program, and a comprehensive program. All of our programs are designed to help you achieve your career goals in a way that’s best suited for your needs and interests.
While each program varies, here are some things that you can learn in our programs if you have an interest in esthetics:
- Sciences including chemistry, anatomy, physiology, disorders, diseases, electricity, nutrition, and more
- Basic esthetics including facials, facial massage, and treatments
- Hair removal
- Makeup
- Eye enhancements including eyelash extensions, lash and brow tinting, brow shaping, and more
- Business skills
- Natural nail manicures and pedicures
- Master esthetics including microdermabrasion, chemical exfoliation, and body treatments
- Medical practices including medical intervention, plastic surgery procedures, laser treatments, and more!
These are some of the things you can learn when studying to become an esthetician! There are many more things that estheticians need to learn to become licensed skincare professionals. We all know the benefits of a good esthetician to provide smooth and painless laser hair removal.
What Careers Can I Have As a Licensed Esthetician?
Since you learn plenty of things in skincare school, that can result in plenty of potential job opportunities after your training! The sky is the limit as a skincare specialist. Skincare specialist employment is expected to grow 17% in the next few years! That’s much faster than average and could result in plenty of new opportunities for people to pursue in their futures as estheticians!
