Skinworks is not currently carrying Epilfree due to international exporting cost, we are exploring other options and hope to offer this service in the future.
What is Epilfree Waxing?
Are you interested in laser hair removal but have been told you wouldn’t see results because your hair is too thin, light, or because you have tattoos? Then you should consider having an Epilfree wax! Epilfree wax is a new innovation in hair reduction services and there is a lot you should know about it!
What is Epilfree Wax and What Does it Do?
An Epilfree wax is basically the same as a regular wax, but your waxing specialist is extra aware of their time, and they use a few special products. The esthetician will use a special serum and a special toner to help promote hair reduction. The serum opens pores so the hair follicles are looser and easier to remove. The toner is used to go into the follicles and destroy the hair bulbs.
Each of these products have to be used with a certain consideration to time. In order for them to work properly, they must be on the skin for very specific time increments. You can learn more about the process by reading more below.
What Does the Process Look Like?
When you come in for an Epilfree wax, this is what the waxing process will look like:
- You will be waxed to get up as much hair as possible in 1 minute.
- After that, the esthetician will have 1 minute to apply the serum to the waxed area.
- Then, after a 5 minute period, they will spray on the toner.
These waxes feel the same as regular waxes, and the reaction of the skin is about the same. Expect redness and the removal of hair!
Who Can Get an Epilfree Wax?
Epilfree waxes can be done on all different hair types and on tattoos. The results are very similar to laser hair removal. Laser hair removal doesn’t often work on those with light colored hair, and it can’t be used on tattoos.
Epilfree can be used on all parts of the body. Here at Skinworks, while we do not perform Epilfree Brazilian waxes, you can get them done on your legs, armpits, bikini, and more! Check out what we can do on our Spa Menu!
While these waxes are a bit more expensive than regular waxes, they promote hair reduction, rather than just hair removal. Epilfree waxes also take more time than regular waxes, and compared to laser hair removal, they take more time to see continued results.
