Skinworks Programs
Skinworks offers three programs in Esthetics, Basic Esthetics (600 hours), Master Esthetics (600 hours), and Comprehensive Esthetics (1200 hours), which is a combination of the two. In Basics we fill your 600 hours with Facials, Waxing, and Eyelash Extensions, giving you a well rounded education. In Masters we include our 3 week Advanced Medical Modalities class which includes Laser, IPL, and Collagen Induction Therapy (Microneedling). There is no extra charge for these classes, they are included in the students tuition. All courses also include our Business Classes, which run in 4 segments throughout the program. Admissions Policy
Any student over 17 years* of age indicating interest in attending Skinworks School of Advanced Skincare (for any program offered) will have the opportunity to meet with an admissions representative to discuss the esthetic’s program along with a tour of the facilities. The student will then complete their contracts with the Admissions Representative if the student certifies the following:
- The student is a high school graduate or
- has a High School Equivalency, such as a GED or other equivalency recognized by the state.
- College Academic Transcript showing attainment of an Associate’s Degree or Higher
- A copy of state or US Government issued Identification
- A social security card and/or a permanent residency card.
- The contract requires a $100.00 non-refundable and non-transferable application fee.
* If the student is under 18, the student’s parent or guardian is required to be at all meetings, and signature is required on all documents. Skinworks also requires the student to fill out the The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

Skinworks Mission Statement
Skinworks seeks to provide each student with an esthetics education that will prepare them for the real world in both the basic and master esthetics fields. Skinworks’ training team is dedicated to provide this education through materials, techniques, and products that Skinworks has hand selected to be valuable tools in the student’s education.
Skinworks’ main objective is to ensure that our students combine their education with professionalism in the work place as well as in the community, giving them the fundamental knowledge and techniques needed to grow in the beauty industry.
School Facilities
Skinworks is conveniently located at 2121 Nowell Cir, South Salt Lake, UT. We have over 7,600 square feet offering the students and client a professional spa experience. The student area consists of 2 classrooms and a student break/study room. The student spa room consist of :
- 8 Spa Treatment Rooms
- 2 Laser/IPL Rooms
- A Couples Room
- 2 Manicure Room (4 Stations)
- 2 Pedicure Rooms (6 Stations)
- 2 Wax Rooms/Lash Rooms
- 2 Microdermabrasion
- Lash Room (2 Stations)
